Beyond the Basics: The Power of Wright’s Striking Wrenches
Wright striking wrenches feature the patented Wright Drive 2.0 design, which distributes contact stress more effectively than any other wrench.
Users can choose from four different styles of striking wrenches:
- Straight Handle
- SAE Offset Handle
- Metric Offset Handle
- Straight Handle/Orange Finish (6-pt.)
Designed to take abuse, the striking wrenches are manufactured in the USA with strength and durability. Available in both straight and offset styles, the heavy-duty striking wrenches come in nearly 100 sizes from 32mm to 4-5/8".
The Wright Drive 2.0 12-point design has up to 10 times more tool-to-fastener contact area than conventional 12-point wrenches. The design improves fastener torque load while decreasing rounding and distortion of the fastener.
The Wright Drive 2.0 6-point design moves the contact area away from the corners, creating greater strength and more torque. Its circle diameter reduces fastener rounding and allows better grip on undersized fasteners and previously rounded corners.
Al Ryding, vice president of sales, explains more about the features of Wright’s striking wrenches and their performance for professionals.
