Wright Tool Announces Agreement to Distribute Witte Tools in U.S. Market

BARBERTON, OHIO - September 2005- Wright Tool recently announced it will distribute products from Witte Tools, a German-based global supplier of high-quality hand tools. Under the agreement, Wright Tool will distribute a select product offering from three of Witte Tools' product lines, MAXXPRO®, MAXXPRO PLUS® and MAXXPRO VDE®, to the MRO, STAFDA and rental markets.

The distribution partnership gives Wright Tool users access to an international brand of screwdrivers that meet the industry's highest standards.

Wright Tool has developed a separate catalog highlighting the Witte Tools products it will distribute.

The MAXXPRO and MAXXPRO PLUS superior quality screwdrivers are individually designed in respect to outline, gravity center and form. Triangle-shaped handles give a more ideal turning angle of the hand (120 degrees). In addition to the specially designed handle, it has an impact absorbing core for higher strength and longer tool life. The soft handle provides users with greater comfort and anti-slit protection.

Both lines of screwdrivers also have a black blade tip that provides extra precision and is chip-resistant. The tips are matte-chromium-plated and made of the high-alloy chrome vanadium steel.

The MAXXPRO PLUS has slip-resistant, micro-fiber handle surface panels that are ideal for working in wet or oily work conditions.

With insulated blades for working with electricity, the MAXXPRO VDE meets EN 60900/IEC 60900 requirements and is tested for cold resistance with -40 degrees Celsius, as indicated with a "C" marking.
