Wright Tool Offers High-Quality Bits from Witte Tools
BARBERTON, OHIO - March 2006 - Wright Tool has introduced its Witte Insert
Bit Program, which offers two different insert bits from Witte Tools.
These bitsBitflex TiN and Standardare used for industrial,
MRO, construction and other screw-driving applications.
All Witte Tools insert bits are made of high-quality steel and go through
special hardening and tempering treatments. Witte bits are available in
the following bit types: Phillips, slotted, Torx, Torx tamper resistant,
Allen/hex and Robertson/square. There also are adapters for multiple applications.
Bitflex TiN bits have a titanium nitride (TiN) coatings, which has a
Vickers Hardness rating in the range of 2,800 HV. The TiN coating extends
the life up to five times a normal insert bit reducing costs of replacing
bits. Witte Bitflex TiN bits are specifically used for continual screwdriving
in industrial and other heavy-duty applications.
Standard Witte bits are best suited for driving screws with sudden, increasing
torque and high torque conditions. Standard Witte bits can be used in
all general-purpose screw- and fastener-driving operations.
