PORTLAND, ORE. – December 2008 – Over the last 10 years, Big D Bolt & Tool in Garland, Texas, a distributor of fasteners and tools, has been offering a brand of hand tools manufactured overseas to meet the needs of their customers. Recently, after the sales team was encouraged to participate in the Wright Tool University online training course created by BlueVolt, the distributorship now plans on switching its product offering to Wright Tool, manufactured in the United States.

“At STAFDA and Sphere 1 meetings, I was exposed to the Wright Tool product lines but even though I saw that they were superior to what we were selling, I could not convince my sales team of the value,” said Bob Coursey, owner of Big D Bolt & Tool. “They believed that Wright Tool products were too expensive for our customer base.”

After hearing about the Wright Tool online training courses offered by BlueVolt, Big D Bolt & Tool’s eight sales representatives were urged to participate.

The training courses gave my employees the same excitement about the products that I received when I went to the shows.”
